also being from texas I can erlate to the heat right now and have noticed my mufler turning a darker. as for your #4 is it worth it in my opinion not really, I've taken all the blue off a couple of times but it doesn't stay off long enough to constitute doing it all the time. If I where going to try and sell it I'd clean it up. but like I said with as much as I ride its not worth the efort it will be blue again by the end of the week.
